funnywildlife:

This photograph of a man wading in Lake Superior with his 19-year-old arthritic dog has captured the hearts of millions — an outpouring that inspired the dog’s owner to launch a foundation to help low-income families care for their aging canines. He is a true hero!

“Never, never, be afraid to do what’s right, especially if the well-being of a person or animal is at stake. Society’s punishments are small compared to the wounds we inflict on our soul when we look the other way”. !! Marthur Luther King (jnr)
